It was an encouraging evening and a reminder of what this program is making possible for young people, families and communities.

Across eastern Uganda, many girls and young women face barriers that can change the course of their lives.

These can include teenage pregnancy, limited knowledge about reproductive health and family planning, and school disruptions linked to period poverty.

Through WCFL, communities are gaining the tools to create safer, stronger futures.

The program supports young people both in and out of school, equips local leaders, and engages men to challenge harmful norms.

We are seeing the difference this work is making: greater knowledge, stronger decision-making, and growing confidence among participants.

There’s still an opportunity to be part of this change. By supporting WCFL and AOA, you can help expand this life‑changing program to reach thousands more.
