Wise Choices for Life designs and creates professional Reproductive Health and Life Skills training for key individuals who are directly involved in the education sector, community and poverty reduction programs.
We form Partnerships with these groups and together we identify key individuals – male and female – to undertake our core training and become accredited lead Trainers.
Lead Trainers go on to train local Facilitators who come from a variety of backgrounds under the leadership of their Country Director, the local Coordinator for Wise Choices for Life in country (our Partner). Facilitators assist with delivering our training to participants and we emphasise the sharing of this newly gained knowledge with everyone who needs and wants to hear about it.
Wise Choices for Life creates a forum for cultural debate about family relationships.
Using drama, dance, song, role plays, discussions, small group work and debates we help Participants think critically and engage with the knowledge that we are passing on. We use professional training aids to teach medical facts and help people understanding sensitive topics. Our workshops are 100% interactive, fun and challenging, allowing people to question their current way of thinking and consider how they may effectively work in their communities.
Participants leave with practical skills as well as new knowledge through this blended delivery style. Although this is a train-the-trainer course, some Participants may not become Certified Wise Choices for Life Trainers.
